Title: Introduction to Adaptive Finite Element Methods
Abstract: In this series of lectures we will introduce the adaptive finite element method based on a posteriori error estimates for solving elliptic partial differential equations. We will introduce the Clement interpolation operator, the upper and lower bound of the a posteriori error estimate, the construction of adaptive finite element methods, and the convergence of adaptive finite element method.
